Our Story: From The Family Center to Celebrations at the Park
A New Chapter for a Cherished Brookfield Gathering Place
For years, families, organizations, and community members throughout Brookfield and Waukesha County have known this gathering place as The Family Center at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The venue has provided a welcoming setting where people can come together for meaningful occasions, shared experiences, and important moments.
In 2023, the facility began a new chapter with a thoughtful interior renovation designed to make the space more comfortable, attractive, and adaptable. Updated fixtures and finishes refreshed the venue, while retractable walls made it possible to create flexible room configurations for events of different sizes and styles. On-site Wi-Fi is available, and additional audiovisual equipment and technical services can be coordinated through qualified outside providers when needed.
Today, this familiar community space is known as Celebrations at the Park— a flexible event venue in Brookfield, Wisconsin, created to accommodate a broader range of gatherings. Our versatile rooms can be arranged for corporate meetings, private celebrations, community events, educational programs, catered receptions, and celebrations of life.
